My Experience & Expertise

I look for ways to learn, share information, and apply new and engaging ways to ensure people are heard, feel validated, and become confident. I help companies, organizations and families meet or exceed their objectives.

In the field of special education services, my goal every day is to identify and apply educational approaches to help all involved succeed. It is my goal for families and students to feel confident when stating their needs and discussing them in a productive manner.  Observant and intuitive, I strive to make a difference – to create programs and provide individualized attention to meet the needs of families, youth, and community to inspire lifelong learning in ways that meet everyone’s needs. As the creator of Fresh Thinking Special Education Advisors, my role requires the ability: to share expertise in ways that encourage questions, promote a sense of comfort, allow for vulnerability; and build knowledge and a voice for the ones who work with me. We are all a part of the same special education team.

I have been described as a flexible, knowledgeable team player who listens and understands how to present information to students, parents, and other stakeholders. I’ve been called resourceful and persistent when it comes to finding solutions. People I work with say I’m supportive, humorous, kind, and a phenomenal communicator.
